Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the VeriLand website and the verification services offered through it. By using the site or requesting a service, you agree to these terms.

Last updated: 10 July 2026

The service

VeriLand provides independent land and property verification support. Depending on the scope agreed, this may include reviewing documents, supporting ownership searches, inspecting a site where possible, and providing a written report. We are a private service and are not a government agency; we do not issue land titles or official records.

Requests, quotes and payment

Submitting a request through this site is not a contract for services. We review your request and provide a recommended scope and quote. Work begins only after you approve a scope, and fees are as set out in the quote you accept. Fees, scope and turnaround depend on the land, its location, the records and documents available, and any professionals involved.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete information, and to have the right to share any documents you provide. Our findings depend on the information available to us; incomplete or inaccurate information may affect the outcome of a review.

No guarantee

Verification supports your decision but cannot remove every risk. A report reflects the records, documents and information available at the time of review. It is not legal, surveying, valuation or investment advice, and you may still need independent professional advice before proceeding with a transaction.

Intellectual property

The content on this site and the reports we produce are provided for your use in connection with the relevant transaction and remain our intellectual property. You may not resell or republish them without our permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VeriLand is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the relevant service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Ghanaian courts, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the date above shows when they were last changed. Questions? Reach us on WhatsApp or through our contact page.
